The peak of the summer is here, and even though the world crisis is in full swing, there is still plenty of things to do in Mallorca this August.
Hot Air Balloon Flight
Taking a trip in a hot air balloon is always a special occasion however, the fact that you can take one on the beautiful island of Mallorca makes it extra special.
This is a must-do highlight in Mallorca as you can view the Tramuntana mountains, get extraordinary views of the north-west coast and drink champagne whilst on your flight. It lasts for 1 hour and couldn’t be safer because there will be trained professionals that will securely prepare the flight for you.
After your flight, you will receive a souvenir flight certificate of your experience before returning to the meeting point. Ultimately, you won’t find a better way to explore the beautiful views Mallorca has to offer, so make sure you get your hands on a ticket this August as it is quite frankly an unmissable highlight.
We recommend that you bring comfortable shoes and not to partake if you are pregnant or have very young children. Five-star reviews have been given to this, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to get your value for money.
Bottomless Brunch – Barbuda Beach Bar & Grill
If you love views, cocktails, and most importantly great food, then you have to go to the Barbuda Beach Bar and Grill in Palmanova where you can enjoy two hours of bottomless drinks with a premium meal out.
You can select three dishes off the tapas menu as well. It is well renowned for its excellent native foods that enable you to immerse yourself into the culture of real Mallorca, whilst enjoying a really pleasant atmosphere. You will be treated to the most amazing beach views of Palmanova that will entice you to stay for hours on end and with reasonable prices as well, you simply cannot dislike the place.
You really feel like you are in a luxury location when you are at the Barbuda Beach Bar and Grill as you are immersed around an almost magical setting that has views that attracts visitors from all over the world.
Service and friendliness of the staff has been praised by pretty much all visitors as you can see from the reviews. On an overall basis, you’ll do well to find a better restaurant that offers the same quality as the Barbuda Beach Bar and Grill, so you have to give it a try this August!
Formula Car Tour
If you’re up for a fun and exciting day out, then you have to give the formula car tour a go. You can opt for the 2.5 or 4.5 tour, where you can drive along the coast of Mallorca in style.
You will be instructed by your guide and be told everything you need to know before you get going, so you will be well equipped when you first head out. You will begin the tour in Sierra de Tramuntana, then you will take your first break in Puerto Portals.
After, you will set off to the famous Palma de Mallorca and you’ll drive right up to the front of the Cathedral and make your way to the north coast of the island where you will be treated to some of the best views around.
You will then make your second stop in Estellencs, which is a picturesque location that is great for grabbing something to eat or drink and take a few photos. Towards the end of the trip, you will pass right through the mountains to the stunning harbour town of Port Andratx, which is situated right on the south-west of Mallorca. Ultimately, there’s no better way than this to explore the heart of Mallorca in the most enjoyable way possible.
Palma Catamaran Tour
On this trip, you really will feel like royalty as you are treated to a delicious gourmet buffet lunch that consists of mango chicken salad, seafood salad, curry vegetable pie and roasted black pork. The food is always of a high degree however, the main highlight of the tour is the incredible crystal-clear waters that you are surrounded by, making it a sight to behold.
You’ll be handed drinks and cocktails of your choice which you can sip right underneath the Mallorcan sun for the whole five hours the tour lasts for. The atmosphere is really pleasant as there is some calming music that compliments the whole ambience and the catamaran is never overly crowded, so you’ll have plenty of space to maintain the social distancing guidelines in place.
With all of that said, this is one of the prime things to do in Mallorca in August, so we highly recommend that you give it a craic.
The Water Experience
The water experience is a thrilling, action-packed day out that is full of all sorts of water sports and activities. For instance, you can try coastal trekking, cliff jumping, cave exploring or even kayaking.
You will be provided with safety equipment such as life jackets, helmets and all the essentials like snorkelling gear and kayaks. It makes do for the perfect day out, especially if you are travelling with a group of people.
The trip itself lasts around three hours, giving you plenty of time to have fun, but not being overwhelmingly long. The staff there will offer to pick you up and will take you to the meeting point of Carmi Vell de la Victoria in the northern zone of the island.
In essence, this trip is great if you are an adrenaline rusher or just want to step outside your comfort zone a little bit, so anyone can have a go. Coming at an affordable price as well, there’s nothing stopping you from booking it this August.
